Dissing with love. We built a Griselda-style boom bap track to test AI's lyrical teeth — dusty drums, crackling samples, and a nod to the OGs.
This one’s a lyrical takedown dressed in boom bap armor. I wanted to channel that Griselda-style grit — raw, dusty, and straight to the point. The goal was to prove AI can spit with underground energy, not just polished sheen.
Vibe direction: "Make a diss track in the style of classic East Coast boom bap — dusty samples, punchy kicks, gritty textures, and confident, complex lyricism aimed at AI creators stuck in the past."
🎧 What Came Out
Definitely got that 90s basement session energy. The samples felt grimy and lived-in. The delivery? Aggressive and rhythmic, riding the pocket hard.
Tweaks I Made:
- Added some vinyl crackle to the intro
- Compressed the drums to hit harder
- Slight vocal saturation to get that mixtape feel
🔁 Would I Use This Vibe Again?
Absolutely — boom bap works great for AI-made vocals when you want it to feel raw and uncompromising. I’d love to test this prompt again with a jazzier sample next time.

This one’s a playful homage to “AI for the Culture” — styled as a diss, but really just showing respect through competition. It's a nod to the idea that if we're gonna be making AI music, we better bring it. Consider it more of a friendly sparring session in lyrical form.
